Cranio~Sacral~SELF~Waves Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy works effectively with the central nervous system, which is protected within the spinal column, surrounded by cerebral spinal fluid. By placing the hands under the base of the cranium and the sacrum, one can feel the “pulse” of the cerebral spinal fluid and the rhythmic WAVE action of its movement. By regulating the flow of this fluid, the health & function of the nervous system can return to a state of balance.
Cranio~Sacral~SELF~Waves Therapy, incorporates Delta Wave and Pulse massage, Trigger Point Release, and Lymphatic Movement promoting movement of lymphatic fluid, blood, and our vital force affecting the nervous system & other systems throughout the body towards improving overall health and wellness.
The entire body is addressed when receiving Cranio~Sacral~SELF~Waves Therapy. Addressing further assisting in improved circulation and lymphatic movement. This therapy uses light touch.

dba The Temple Within
Mission Statement
To create a supportive foundation of guidance to individuals by empowering their acknowledgement of SELF to better understand how they navigate through the ebb and flow of life. By cultivating self-awareness and nurturing personal growth through connecting with ourselves on a deeper level, we can unlock the potential for healing, resilience, and transformation.
Mindful Living Facilitator
Life happens all the time, every day. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that create confusion between our thoughts, emotions, and feelings, and it’s challenging to find a balance with everything to get us back to a better place. It’s challenging to know what steps to take to continue moving forward in a direction that is appropriate for our needs to be met.
Once we are in a place where we can see things more clearly, it becomes easier to address the needs and concerns that we have in making changes that will put us back on track in a healthy, positive, and well-balanced way of being.
I help individuals reframe how they are seeing themselves in existing circumstances/situations in their life that they would like to see change. Through open dialog, a sharing of information, access to different tools, providing support and guidance, and the client’s commitment to actively participate in activities, we can identify and address the ‘source’ of what is no longer serving their needs. In identifying the source, we can define more clearly, what the next steps would look like for them moving forward in achieving the desired outcome.
Dedicated to empowering individuals on their healing journeys, The Temple Within, a whole-istic practice, draws inspiration from the basics of Who we are, How we want to be moving forward, and Our connection with Source. Through conversations, asking questions, listening, and reframing, guidance can be provided creating a transformative space where exploration, connection, and self-discovery can flourish.

Yin Yoga
Many of us live fast-paced, active lives. Our professional and home life demands a lot from us. We look for ways to relieve stress and tension by going for a run, powering through an Ashtanga yoga class, walking out in nature, or maybe sweating it out on a spin bike. Yin yoga and Organics Elastics Somatic Movement are a perfect way to balance an active life, providing a slower and more meditative, restorative counterpart, to help you focus on you.
Yin Yoga is a practice of stillness in movement that stretches and releases tension from the tendons, ligaments, connective tissues, and fascia in the body, known in Chinese Medicine as our Yin tissue. Rather than engaging muscles, paying close attention to alignments and regulating breathwork with each pose or movement, Yin Yoga allows one to practice the art of becoming ‘soft’ allowing the body to ‘melt’ which enables us to let go of stress and tension in the body. Emphasis is directed to focused breath-work and how you are being in the pose, not the pose itself. This allows us to just let go.
Yin yoga is excellent for those who are challenged with injuries, limited range of motion, or chronic conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, tendonitis, etc. as this style of yoga allows the soft tissues of the body to release and lengthen providing better circulation for healthy cell regeneration. It is also a great starting point for anyone interested in practicing meditation as it has such an internal focus.
This passive form of active stillness gives us time to focus on how vital our breath is in releasing what we no longer need to hold onto.
Nanette Lani Brierley, a registered and certified Yoga Teacher, and a certified Organics Elastics Somatic Movement Teacher, believes that by encouraging the use of various tools and props to support the body is an important part of allowing the body to benefit from the poses and organic movements in Yin Yoga and Organics Elastics Somatic Movement. Modifications are made throughout her classes for those who are physically challenged, and emphasis is directed to breath-work and how you are being in the different modalities of movement, not on your execution of them.
Each class is 60 minutes and is limited to 5 participants per class. Please call or text (520) 341-4390 to check for availability.

Organics Elastics Somatic Movement Classes
Organics Elastics Somatic Movement reflects the way our body naturally developed as we were forming inside the womb. It is a supportive form of movement that uses bands of elastic material to ‘cocoon’ the body as we go through the different movements (similar to those of yoga) that help our body remember how we are meant to move and function ‘organically’.
Organics Elastics Somatic Movement: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday @ 9:00am
